Serious accident on Vinxeler Straße: Police investigated after suspected alcohol

On the evening of May 26, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on Vinxeler Strasse. A 47-year-old driver and a 30-year-old driver collided at the Vinxeler Straße / Peter-Weyler-Straße intersection. The collision was so violent that the woman was seriously injured and had to be taken to a hospital. The man only suffered minor injuries.

Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive and were towed while high damage to property occurred. The Ramersdorf police closed Vinxeler Straße for the duration of the accident recording, which also affected RSVG buses. Investigations indicate that the alleged person who caused the accident could have consumed alcohol. The Bonn police are asking witnesses to report.
