On Saturday afternoon it crashed near Kelz! A 25-year-old scooter driver from Nörvenich collided with a 61-year-old driver from Düren at the intersection to the L264 because he had disregarded his right of way. The impact was violent: the scooter driver was seriously injured and had to be flown to the hospital with a rescue helicopter! His injuries are serious.

But that's not all! Fortunately, the driver and his passenger were only slightly injured, while both vehicles were significantly damaged in the terrifying accident. The accident site was completely closed to the duration of the rescue work, which caused an intensive traffic situation.
