Serious accident at Weißensee: Auto crashes against tree, four injuries!

In the night of Friday, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Sömmerda district. A 37-year-old driver was traveling with three passengers in a Skoda on the main road between Weißensee and Straußfurt when he lost control of the vehicle in a curve. The car raced from the road, fell down a slope and crashed into a tree.

All four occupants suffered injuries, two among them seriously. A ambulance and a helicopter were quickly used to bring the injured into surrounding hospitals. The Skoda suffered total damage, the property damage is estimated at over 15,000 euros. The police immediately initiated the investigation into the cause of the accident.
