Serious accident: Gelsenkirchen cyclists falls on Lake Kemnader!

A serious accident occurred in Witten-Herbede on Friday afternoon when a 54-year-old cyclist from Gelsenkirchen had an accident with his racing bike. The incident passed around 12.35 p.m. on a bike path east of Lake Kemnader. The cyclist lost control of his two-wheeler for unexplained so far and fell about 300 meters north of the Schloßstraße / Von-Elverfeldt-Allee confluence.

The police have started the investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident. The 54-year-old was seriously injured in the fall. Further information about his state of health is currently not known.
