Serious accident in Herne: 75-year-old cyclist injured!

In a tragic traffic accident in Herne, a 75-year-old cyclist was seriously injured on Friday morning. The incident happened around 10:40 a.m. when an 82-year-old driver drove Schillerstrasse towards Wiescherstrasse. At the same time, the cyclist was traveling with his pedelec on Mont-Cenis-Straße towards Hölkeskampring. In the intersection area there was a serious collision between the two road users.

The police have taken over the investigation to clarify the exact course of the accident. Further information on the condition of the injured cyclist has not yet been known.
