Serious accident in Kreuzau: 26-year-old without driving license seriously injured

In a dramatic night on Dürener Straße in Kreuzau, there was a serious traffic accident at 01:40 a.m. A 26-year-old man from Düren lost control of his light skating bike after touching and falling edge of the curb when leaving the place. The young driver suffered serious injuries and had to be treated acutely by rescue workers on site before he was transported to the hospital.

The police quickly determined: the driver did not have a valid driving license, his vehicle was not approved and therefore also not insured. In addition, evidence of alcohol consumption was hardened, which is why a blood sample was taken. The light motorcycle was ensured while the accident is further examined.
