Serious accident in Steinfurt: 5-year-olds injured while getting out!

On Monday evening there was a serious traffic accident on Altenberger Strasse, in which a 5-year-old girl from Steinfurt was injured. The 22-year-old driver of a Mercedes-Benz drove out of an access around 5:40 p.m. and overlooked the child who reached at the passenger door. The driver accelerated carefree without noticing the girl's risk.

The girl fell to the ground and suffered the serious injuries. It was immediately taken to a hospital by ambulance. The police have started the investigation into the course of the accident and is looking for witnesses.
