On Friday, May 30, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred at the northwest bypass around 1:00 p.m. A 44-year-old cyclist who was traveling from Eimeldingen towards Haltingen collided at the intersection with a car authorized to drive by an 85-year-old driver.

The cyclist was thrown off her bike in the impact and suffered considerable injuries. Without a bicycle helmet, she was taken to the hospital by the ambulance as soon as possible. The entire property damage is estimated at around 4,000 euros.
