Serious traffic accident at Mühlhausen: Drivers dies in the hospital

On Sunday morning, June 1, 2025, there was a tragic traffic accident on Kreisstraße 4505 near Mühlhausen at the Enz. At around 9:25 a.m. a 60-year-old BMW driver fell off the road for still unclear reasons and crashed into a tree. The driver, who was sitting alone in the vehicle, had to be released by the fire brigade by technical means.

Immediate resuscitation attempts at the accident were unsuccessful. The emergency services immediately transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he died despite all efforts. The traffic group of the federal motorway from the Pforzheim traffic police took over the investigation, supported by officials from the Mühlacker police station. The district road was completely closed until around 12:30 p.m., while the rescue and clean-up work was carried out, supported by a rescue helicopter.
