Serious traffic accident in Dortmund: 86-year-old in mortal danger!

On Monday, May 26th, there was a dramatic traffic accident with three cars in the Dortmund district of Mitte! An 86-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle when he touched a Mercedes. The impact catapulted the Mercedes into oncoming traffic, where he collided head-on with the VW of a 23-year-old. The older gentleman had to be hospitalized in the meantime!

The accident sequence was devastating: all three vehicles were total damage and had to be towed. The property damage amounts to a whopping 38,000 euros. While the specialized officers of the traffic accident recording carried out the investigation on site, the Klönnestrasse was closed in both directions. The roadway could not be released until around 8 p.m. A day that ended lightly for everyone involved - but the horror sits deep!
