Serious traffic accident in Lentföhrden: Fire brigade in large -scale use!

on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on Schmalfelder Strasse between Lentföhrden and Schmalfeld around 11:31 a.m. Two passenger cars were involved, with a person being in compulsory in their vehicle, that is, they could not leave the car, but was not trapped. The volunteer fire brigades from Lentföhrden and Benefit Kampen as well as the emergency services were immediately alerted.

With a hydraulic rescue device, the emergency services made an outcome for the person concerned, who was finally cared for 45 minutes after the accident and transported to a nearby hospital. During the deployment that mobilized 46 firefighters, Schmalfelder Straße was closed in both directions to enable the rescue workers free. The district fire brigade association Segeberg as well as the police and emergency services from Schleswig-Holstein were also involved in the assignment.
