A 71-year-old man noticed in Edesheim on Saturday evening through a traffic control. Officials from the Edenkoben police recognized alcohol smell and signs of impairments. The test carried out left no doubt: Over 1.5 per thousand did not remain without consequences! Criminal proceedings for drunkenness were immediately initiated in traffic.

The police had the man removed a blood test and made his driver's license secured. Another warning shot against the dangers of alcohol consumption at the wheel!
