A tragic incident shook the U2 light rail line in Stuttgart! On May 23, 2025, a 78-year-old man crashed at the "Stöckach" stop when the light railway went towards Bad Cannstatt. Apparently he contracted a serious leg injury, which he initially did not notice. He only became aware of his severe pain when he got out on the "Daimlerplatz", and since he could no longer run, he received help from an unknown passenger. Another passer -by alerted the emergency services that took the seniors to a hospital.

The situation escalated when the 78-year-old succumbed to his injuries in the hospital on the night of May 27th to May 28th, 2025!
