Horn-Bad Meinberg, Deutschland - A serious traffic accident occurred in Detmold on Friday afternoon! At around 1:40 p.m., an 85-year-old driver tried to turn left into Mittelstrasse from Externsteiner Straße. In doing so, she overlooked an approaching car that properly drove the middle street towards Paderborner Straße.

Fortunately, the 51-year-old driver from Paderborn was not injured, while the senior citizen was slightly injured. Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the collision and had to be towed. Police forces were quickly on site to clarify the situation.
