Safe on the way: Police sharpen children's eyes in road traffic!
Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland - The Hessian police set a strong sign of more safety in road traffic on Tuesday (June 3rd)! As part of the cross -border traffic safety campaign "Safe.Mobil.leben - Kinder Auflicht", the focus was on protecting weaker road users, especially children. This campaign aims to reduce traffic accidents and to improve the traffic ability of everyone involved.
The police showed themselves particularly creatively with the "Blitz for Kids" campaign in Frankfurt am Main, in which children distributed green or yellow cards to drivers - green for exemplary behavior and yellow for too fast driving. In the Lehnerz district of Fulda, the speed monitoring near schools was also strengthened and traffic offenders were confronted directly with their misconduct. In addition, the officers checked the use of child seats and straps in order to raise awareness of traffic rules. The initiative generated great interest and understanding in both children and adults - a step in the right direction for traffic safety!
