Security in road traffic: Minister Reul visits Monheim!

Children are particularly vulnerable in road traffic: 6,645 children were injured in North Rhine-Westphalia last year, including ten who tragically died. In order to prepare the little ones for the way to school, the North Rhine-Westphalia police in cooperation with the primary school on Lerchenweg in Monheim am Rhein organizes a traffic safety day.

On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 8.30 a.m., pupils and their parents will take part in this important event. The event is also visited by Interior Minister Herbert Reul. It is an essential initiative to strengthen the awareness of traffic safety in children and to optimally prepare them for the dangers of road traffic.
