Security campaign: Police checked over 500 vehicles in Saalfeld!

Saalfeld, Deutschland - On June 3, 2025, the Saalfeld State Police Inspection was actively used for traffic safety! As part of the nationwide day of action "Live Mobile Certainly", the focus was especially on the safety of children in road traffic. On this day, a total of 15 checkpoints in the three districts of the LPI were set up in front of schools and daycare centers, with over 530 vehicles being put through their paces.

What came out of it was alarming: In 75 cases, complaints had to be made! Most violations were discovered during speed controls, but the lack of child seats and parking violations near educational institutions also ensured plenty of action. The police thus set a strong sign of more security awareness in road traffic, especially for the weakest road users - our children!
