On Pentecost Sunday, around 1:30 p.m., there was a dramatic traffic accident on the A19 shortly before the Kavelstorf junction towards Rostock, which caused over 30,000 euros in property damage. A 36-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle due to heavy rain and crashed against an outdoor protection schedule. As a result, his car turned and rammed another vehicle on the right lane.

Fortunately, everyone involved was not injured. The damaged car of the 36-year-old had to be towed. The highway was partially closed for almost three hours for the accident recording. The police urgently warn against the dangers of aquaplaning and call on all drivers to reduce speed in the event of sudden heavy rain!
