Storm deep strikes: fire brigade Dresden with 698 missions on the Pentecost weekend!

Frauenkirche, Dresden, Deutschland - A storm caused a lot of vertebrae on the Pentecost weekend in Dresden! The fire brigade had to deploy a total of 12 missions, while the emergency services were alerted an incredible 698 times, including 185 emergency doctors and eight missions by the rescue helicopter Christoph 38. Two vehicles were damaged, but luckily it remained without injuries.

The emergency services at the Frauenkirche experienced a dramatic medical emergency: a 71-year-old man collapsed on the observation platform and urgently needed resuscitation. The rescue was extremely challenging - tight stairs and the impending storm made the situation tricky. The height rescue service was alerted, but a rescue over the outer dome had to be canceled due to the approaching storm. Finally, 22 brave emergency services managed to quickly bring the patients inside the building and to transport them to the hospital for treatment. A sweaty weekend for the rescuers!
