Pickpiece in Ludwigshafen: Senior woman loses wallet when shopping
On Friday, May 30th, a 71-year-old was the victim of a pick-up in a shop on Bismarckstrasse in Ludwigshafen. At around 4 p.m. she was jostled by an unknown woman. When she wanted to pay for her purchase at the cash register, she found that her shoulder bag was open and that her wallet and cash had disappeared. The perpetrator is described as about 1.65 m tall, strong and completely dressed in black.
The police ask the public for information on the incident and has reached the Ludwigshafen criminal police on 0621 963-23312 and by email. In order to avoid such incidents in the future, the police urgently warn: be particularly vigilant in maneuvering, close your pockets carefully and wear valuables close to your body. Never leave your things unattended so as not to become the next victim yourself!
