In a terrifying incident in Kelkheim, a taxi driver was brutally attacked by two passengers on the night of Saturday, May 31, 2025. After a trip from a celebration to Kelkheim-Mitte train station, the men paid and then suddenly attacked the driver, kicked the vehicle door and fled. The perpetrators are about 25 years old, 170-175 cm tall, wore shirt and pants, were probably alcoholized and possibly spoke Spanish.

A few hours earlier, a stranger tried to break into a residential building in the Rosenweg, but was alerted by an alarm system and fled without prey. In addition, the police and witnesses were able to observe a group of young people in the act when they threw eggs on houses in Feldbergstrasse. These young people, all of them 15 years old, were handed over to the parents. Another highlight of the night: In Flörsheim, two men were taken up, which were observed when spraying a noise barrier. Both, 25 and 28 years old, are now expecting an investigation into property damage. And as if that weren't enough, a stolen motorcycle was involved in an accident - the driver, 21 years old, was said to have been alcoholic. The police have started the investigation in all cases.
