Animal rescue operation: Fire brigade frees Taube from a risk to life!

Feuerwehr Offenburg, Deutschland - A swarm of bees caused excitement in Offenburg this morning! Around 10:45 a.m., employees of a supermarket in the western town discovered the wild swarm in a freshly planted road tree. The fire brigade immediately secured the surroundings and waited that a beekeeper could capture the peaceful beehive.

Later, around 1:20 p.m., the fire brigade became active again when police officers discovered a street pigeon that had caught up in a facade network at a height of about 10 meters. The poor animal hung helplessly in the blazing sun. The fire brigade arrived with the aerial ladder and freed the pigeon from its predicament without injuries. Then an animal hostel took care of the exhausted pigeon and brought it to safety. An animal use full of moments of happiness!
