A tragic boat accident has occurred today on Lake Barnin in Crivitz. At around 2:30 p.m., a capsized paddle boat with two inmates was registered. The rescue workers found a 53-year-old man from the region only lifeless. Any help came too late for him.

The 55-year-old boat leader who caused the accident showed a breath alcohol value of 1.25 per thousand. How exactly the incident could come about is the subject of police investigations. The rescue of the completely capsized paddle boat is still pending.
