Tragic accident in Lehna: drunk driver causes 30,000 euros in damage

Ershausen, Deutschland - On June 9, 2025, there was a dramatic traffic accident on the district road near Lehna when a 22-year-old driver of a black Audi A4 overlooked a gray Audi A3 parked on the side of the road. The impact was violent: the standing car was thrown around and crashed into a house wall. Both the driver and his 24-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to the hospital.

A breath alcohol test resulted in a frightening value of 1.64 per thousand in the person who caused the accident. A blood sample was ordered and a procedure against him was initiated. The property damage incurred is estimated at around 30,000 euros. The Audi A4 was towed while the other car was implemented.
