Tragic misfortune on BAB 66: truck driver loses control and dies

A tragic incident shaken Frankfurt am Main on Tuesday morning: A 51-year-old truck driver suffered a medical emergency that led to a fateful traffic accident. Around 6:10 a.m., while driving on the BAB 66 towards Wiesbaden, he lost control of his vehicle according to initial knowledge and crashed into a protective bank with the side. In this maneuver he also touched the side mirror of an overtaking car.

The driver, who was seriously injured, died shortly after the accident in the hospital. The police initiated the investigation to clarify the exact approach of the tragic incident.
