Transporter rolls over curb - track for trains closed!

Ückeritz, Deutschland - this morning, around 7:30 a.m., there was a curious traffic accident in Ückeritz! An inadequately secured van rolled independently from a parking lot, over the curb and finally ended up in the track bed. Fortunately, there were no people in the vehicle when the accident happened.

In order to remove the chaos, the track had to be temporarily blocked for train traffic. The van was then recovered by a towing service and is now ready to drive again. The 57-year-old owner of the vehicle was found, the damage amounts to around 1,000 euros. Another chapter in the daily accident story!
