Inattentiveness in Landau: Mother and child injured after an accident!

On Thursday, May 30, 2025, there was a violent rear -end collision in Hainbachstrasse in Landau. A 29-year-old Skoda driver was distracted by her 3-year-old child and noticed too late that the vehicles in front of her had to brake. She raced into the first car almost unchecked, which was pushed to two more vehicles.

The consequences were not without: the mother and daughter and a 64-year-old man suffered minor injuries and were brought to surrounding hospitals. The property damage amounts to around 22,000 euros. Two of the vehicles involved are no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. The 29-year-old is now facing criminal proceedings for negligent bodily harm.
