In Itzehoe, an unknown perpetrator tried to break up the back door of a building with a crowbar on Tuesday evening. The crime occurred around 9:02 p.m. on Bahnhofstrasse when a 22-year-old resident observed the attempted act of burglary. When the witness was seen, the perpetrator immediately escaped and raced away on a black women's bike.

The police are currently looking for witnesses who can provide more information about the incident. The damage to the door is estimated at around 200 euros. Anyone who has made observations is asked to contact the Itzehoe police department.
