A dramatic incident occurred on Tuesday morning in Neuenheim when a small van almost brought a tram to the collision. The driver, who drove towards Handschuhsheim, wanted to turn left at the "Bunsengymnasium" stop without perceiving the approaching tram. Due to the sudden danger, the tram had to slow down, which caused three passengers to fall and suffered minor injuries. As a precaution they were taken to the hospital.
Thanks to attentive witnesses, the police and investigators quickly identified the 42-year-old driver and the owner of the van. A procedure for escaping and negligent bodily harm is now running against the man. The situation caused a sensation - a traffic accident that was barely avoided and had some injuries!| Details | |
