Alter Neuenkirchener Weg, 48429 Rheine, Deutschland - On Wednesday, May 28th, a shocking incident occurred at the confluence of the old Neuenkirchener Weg and Lindenstrasse: a pedelec driver injured a 14-year-old pedestrian and then fled from the scene of the accident! The young person was hit on the sidewalk when the cyclist turned and had to be taken to the hospital with an ambulance.

The Steinfurt police have now started the investigation into this traffic accident and is urgently calling on witnesses who can provide information on the accident or a fleeting driver. Anyone who has seen something should immediately contact the police station in Rheine on Tel.: 05971/938-4215.
