On June 6, 2025, there was a traffic accident in the parking lot on Karrstrasse/Klosterstraße in Wittlich, which ended in a driver's flight. Between 09:20 and 9:45 a.m., a damaged one parked his blue 1 Series BMW forward in a parking space. During a careless maneuver or when parking or parking, an even unknown person who caused the accident damaged the left rear bumper of the BMW.

After the failed maneuver, the perpetrator went out of the dust without worrying about the damage caused. The Wittlich police inspection asks all witnesses who have made suspicious observations in the area between 09:20 and 9:45 a.m. to contact the investigators on 06571/9260
