A serious traffic accident occurred on the B253 when a 50-year-old man from the Schwalm-Eder district came off the road with his vehicle and landed in the ditch. The dramatic incident led to a massive use of the rescue workers from Felsberg.

The federal road 253 was completely closed to about an hour and a half for the duration of the salvage work, which led to considerable traffic disruptions. The first estimates put the property damage at around 12,000 euros. So far there is no information about the condition of the driver.
