In the district of Verden, a dangerous incident occurred on Bremer Strasse on Tuesday evening. A 20-year-old BMW driver overtook a 24-year-old driver in oncoming traffic who had to slow down to prevent a crash. The police are now looking for the driver of a dark Mercedes with a Bremen license plate that was endangered nearby. Witnesses can report to the Verden police on 04231-8060.

Also on Tuesday there was a tangible discussion in Ritterhude after a traffic dispute. After an overtaking maneuver on the Stader Landstrasse, the 20-year-old and a 27-year-old Audi driver came together, with coins. Both drivers stopped, which led to a physical argument between the 20-year-old and a 29-year-old passenger. The two men suffered minor injuries.

Another accident occurred on Tuesday morning in Lilienthal when a 19-year-old Opel driver rammed a Peugeot while overtaking. The Opel was then thrown against a building wall. The driver injured himself slightly, both vehicles were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed.
