Road safety in the district of Cuxhaven: children in the focus of the campaign!

In the district of Cuxhaven, an important focus was on the traffic safety of children on Tuesday. The Cuxhaven Police Inspectorate took part in the cross -border campaign "Supervisory Life" for the seventh time, which particularly targeted the safety of the smallest in road traffic this year.

In various locations in the district, including a primary school in Nordholz, the police and traffic watch were active to draw attention to dangerous behavior. Particular attention was paid to the so-called "parent taxis", in which parents drive their children to the classroom-often a dangerous undertaking that can endanger the safety of the students. Thanks to this campaign, many road users learned about the risks and the importance of enabling children to learn safe learning in road traffic. The response was mostly positive and the initiative was well received by the majority of those involved.
