Traffic accident on L1095: Citroen overturns after collision!

On Monday afternoon, shortly after 1:30 p.m., a spectacular traffic accident occurred on the state road 1095 between Dahenfeld and Neuenstadt am Kocher. A 21-year-old driver who was traveling with her Citroen avoided a pigeon and got on the opposite lane, where she collided by a 55-year-old with a Mercedes. The violent impact catapulted the Citroen into a rollover, but fortunately both drivers only got away with minor injuries and were brought to nearby hospitals.

The police estimate the damage at around 15,000 euros. During the accident recording and the salvage work, the route was completely closed for around two hours, which caused considerable traffic disruptions. The vehicles had to be towed, a clear case that once more shows how quickly there can be dramatic situations in road traffic!
