A serious traffic accident occurred on Friday, May 23, at 6 p.m. on the Kumper Landstrasse in Hamm-Rhynern. A 39-year-old man headed his Mercedes Sprinter to the east when he came off the street for reasons that were unexplained so far and collided with a tree. The collision was violent and the driver was injured.

The injured person was immediately taken to the hospital with an ambulance, but was luckily released after outpatient treatment. The property damage amounts to around 5,000 euros, and the panel van is no longer ready to drive after the accident and had to be towed. The tree, with which the sprinter collapses, also bears slight damage.
