Attempted handbag robbery in Lingen: Ms. fends off perpetrators with an umbrella!

In a shattering incident in the pedestrian zone of Lingen on May 24th at 7:10 p.m., a previously unidentified man of a woman who is located in the thirties wanted to snatch her handbag. The perpetrator, who was already noticed for his loud insults towards passers -by, attacked the woman directly at the Sparkasse. But at a heroic moment, the woman's companion, armed with an umbrella, started his strength and was able to successfully ward off the robbery.

The fleeing perpetrator let off his project and escaped in the crowd. The police have identified two witnesses to the incident, but the woman affected has so far remained unknown.
