A 31-year-old woman from Holzgerlingen was victim to a refined fraud on Wednesday evening. A call from a supposed security employee of a bank caused excitement: the caller announced that irregularities were discovered in the woman's account. In order to avert alleged fraudsters, the Holzgerlinger was manipulated and felt forced to transfer several thousand euros to an allegedly safe account.
