Tool theft at the border crossing: Three Romanians are suspected!

On June 6th, the federal police carried out a check at the Altenheim border crossing and discovered numerous tools in the trunk of a vehicle of three Romanian nationals, including Bohrhammer and stab saws. After theft from a company in North Rhine-Westphalia, these objects were advertised for searching in January 2025.

The three men aged 48, 53 and 58 claimed to have legally acquired the tools, but they could not provide evidence. They were released after the check, but must expect an advertisement for theft. A clear case of criminal discoveries at the border - the investigation continues!
