On Saturday, May 24th, 2025, the Gera police received an unusual call for help from a concerned citizen. He reported that in December 2024 a valuable, rare rooster, which has an impressive black feather and black skin and is said to have a value of around 4000 euros. Surprisingly, the missing animal was discovered a short time later on a neighbor.

The investigation revealed that the landowner had bought the rooster from an unknown person for only 20 euros - without recognizing the real treasure of the animal. The police have now launched Gera investigations into embezzlement and stealing. A surprising case that moves the minds - so much value in a rooster!
