In the night at 02:13 a.m. there was a terrible game accident between Oetmannshausen and Niddawitzhausen when a 24-year-old driver grasped a deer with his small truck. The animal immediately died at the scene of the accident, while property damage of around 1,000 euros occurred on the vehicle.

In addition, a hunting lodge was broken up by strangers between May 29 and Whit Monday in Waldkappel-Hau. There the perpetrators stole ten deer and two deer antlers, which caused further damage of around 500 euros. The police ask for information on 05651/9250.
