Two Romanians arrested in Heidenheim after break -ins!
In Heidenheim, attentive witnesses discovered alleged stolen goods on Saturday afternoon in a workers' accommodation and alerted the police. The officials arrested two men, 42 and 48 years old and originally from Romania. Various items were ensured during the search, including clothing, food, household goods and perfume. The suspicion is on several break -ins in the Heidenheim area, including a slump into the basement of an apartment building on Erchenstrasse on Friday night.
The 42-year-old admitted when he was arrested, while his somewhat older accomplice, who is considered the main perpetrator, remained silent. The Ellwangen public prosecutor has applied for an arrest warrant against the 48-year-old about the urgent suspicion of particularly serious theft. This is now in custody while the 42-year-old was released. The investigation continues and the police have good reasons to classify the case as particularly serious.
