On Wednesday evening there was a spectacular accident in Gummersbach around 9:50 p.m. A 32-year-old Mercedes driver wanted to turn from Gummersbacher Straße to the parking lot of a nearby restaurant and made it far to the left. A 25-year-old driver, also in a Mercedes, took this opportunity to overtake on the right. Suddenly it crashed! The overtaking crashed into the car of the 32-year-old and was thrown against a lantern with full force.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries during this collision, while their vehicles became unusable by the crash. A shock for those involved and another dramatic chapter on Gummersbach's streets!
