150 years of Harthausen volunteer fire brigade: firm with great memories
Harthausen, Bad Aibling, Deutschland - On May 29, 2025, the ceremonial opening of the 150th anniversary of the Harthausen volunteer fire brigade took place in Harthausen, Bad Aibling. The event attracted numerous guests and was made by Peter Strim in an article on rosenheim24.de in detail. The article contains a variety of images that capture the celebrations.
In his opening speech, the commander Georg Schachtner looked back on the impressive history of the fire brigade. Last year, the Harthausen fire brigade recorded the highest number in its history with a total of 252 missions. Particularly noteworthy was the First Responder Group, which managed 218 missions, including many medical emergencies in the community and the neighboring towns. The group has established itself as an indispensable part of the emergency services in the past 17 years, with an average incoming time of eight minutes.missions and honors
The fire brigade was also used for five days last year for flooding and supported the assistance contingent of the Munich district. In addition to the humanitarian missions, the fire brigade also provided technical assistance, which included three fires and 31 traffic accidents. These special missions underline the need and relevance of the fire brigade in the region.
Numerous members were honored for their commitment at the annual general meeting. Mayor Klaus Korneder presented documents and medals to longstanding members, including:
- 30 years of fire service: Florian Leibig and Josef Karl
- 25 years: Martin Renk and Georg Schachtner (honor badge in silver)
- 15 years: Thomas Schnitzenbaumer and Andreas Wagner (bronze medal)
- 45 years: Alfons Dinglreiter (certificate)
The events of the Harthausen fire brigade, such as the Christmas tree collection campaign and the barbecue, were also successful and offered the community a platform for the exchange. An outstanding campaign was the Oktoberfest visit with the partner fire brigade from the Swabian Alb, which, however, led to Corona infections among the participants.
look into the future
The Harthausen fire brigade not only plans to do future events, but also initiated the first steps for celebrating its 150th anniversary in five years. The establishment of a fixed committee is already being planned. The success of the fire brigade, both in catastrophic operations and in the community, remains unbroken.
As part of the further development and support of the fire protection, the specialist magazine "Retten ∙ Delete ∙ Bergen", which was renamed in 2003, has its roots in the history of fire protection, which goes back to 1951. This magazine has played a valuable role in the training and provision of information for firefighters over the years and has become an important part of the fire service.
For the Harthausen fire brigade, both the customary tradition and the constant further development is important. In times of climate change and in September 2001 after the terrorist attacks, the excellent use of the fire brigade is more than ever asked.
The Harthausen fire brigade continues for a strong community in which both tradition and innovation are lived. Further information can be found on Grasbrunn-aktuell.de and Feuerwehr-ub.de .
