A81: Terrible rear -end collision causes 5 km of traffic jam and injured!

On Saturday morning at 10:45 a.m., a serious rear -end collision occurred on the A81 between Bad Dürrheim and Geisingen. A 44-year-old driver out of a Peugeot crashed into a caravan team in front of her for no apparent reason, which led to a dramatic loss of control. The 53-year-old driver of the caravan was forced to lose control, which demolished the trailer device of his VW Multivan. The caravan tipped in a slope and stayed on the side.

Fortunately, the 53-year-old, his wife and daughter remained unharmed. As a precaution, the person who caused the accident and her two children were brought to a local hospital by ambulance. The damage is estimated at around 70,000 euros. During the accident, the right lane was closed until 1:45 p.m., which resulted in a 5 km long backlog. The transport service Zimmer Ob Rottweil has started the investigation into the cause of the accident.
