On Sunday, May 25, 2025, several people were checked by the federal police on Autobahn 57 at Kleve. A 26-year-old Romanian was stopped and introduced his Romanian identity card. But the surprise came quickly: he had an arrest warrant for violating the compulsory insurance law. The man was able to avert his impending ten days in prison by immediately paying the fine of 800 euros and then was allowed to travel.

In the regional express 13, another arrested was waiting: a 27-year-old German who came to Germany from the Netherlands. He not only expected a prison sentence of six months for threats and insults, but also an arrest warrant for violating the Narcotics Act. The man must also have a fine of 1760 euros or 88 days in prison. He will be transferred to prison in Willich on Monday morning.

A 27-year-old Turk was also checked in a coach on Autobahn 3 on Sunday evening. It turned out here that the Gütersloh immigration office had issued a deportation order against him. The man was arrested and brought to the Federal Police Inspection Kleve, where he will be shown to a judge on Monday.
