Heavy motorcycle accident on L15: rescue helicopter in use!

On Saturday, May 24th, 2025, there was a dramatic traffic accident around 1:35 p.m. on the L15, between Hasenfeld and Wolfgarten. A 44-year-old Polish motorcyclist who lives in Belgium lost control of his bike for unexplained reasons and drove off the winding road. His motorcycle fell into an adjacent field and the driver suffered serious injuries.

fast -based rescue measures meant that the injured motorcyclist had to be brought to a clinic with a rescue helicopter. During the accident recording, with the help of an accident recording team, the L15 was blocked in both directions. The traffic commissioner of the Euskirchen police commissioned the investigation into the serious accident.
