At the same time, companies face various challenges. Two thirds of the respondents see the weak domestic demand as the greatest risk. In particular, the increase in geopolitical tensions by 11 percentage points shows the uncertainty that many companies feel.

The sales forecasts show a shared mood: 31% expect an increase in income, 21% expect declines. The proportion of those companies with growing order intake has increased to 20%, but 26% report on a falling order input. The situation in the service industry is particularly negative, where 27% expect improvements, while the majority are pessimistic. In the construction industry, however, the location is mixed: 29% of the companies consider it good.
