Stefan Balk remains coach of SV Waldhausen: A new beginning after a relegation battle!
Waldhausen, Deutschland - Stefan Balk remains the trainer of the men's team of SV Waldhausen. The extension of his contract was announced during the end of the season by board member Klaus Seidl. After a decisive victory against Schwindegg, Balk decided to take the challenge again next year, describing the support of his family, especially his wife.
In the past season, the team had to struggle with serious relegation fears under Balk's leadership, but managed to stay in the A-Class on the penultimate match day. During a difficult phase of three defeats, Balk's trust in relegation was put to the test. At the beginning of his tenure, the team was faced with only seven points from eight games as the bottom of the table.
sporting turn and youth work
In order to stabilize the sporting situation, balk increased aggressiveness in training and attached particular importance to duel training. He not only conveyed the "SVW DNA" to his players, but also strengthened their self-confidence and faith in his own skills. This led to a significant increase: In the last eight games, the team got twelve points under his leadership.
In order to guarantee further successes, Balk plans to integrate three A youth players into the squad, which underlines the continuous focus of the association on youth work. External transfers are not planned for the coming season, while Konstantin Deibl will return after a trip around the world and will also be available again. Balk continues to receive support from assistant coach Martin Kailer.
goals and preparation for the new season
The objective for the upcoming season consists of integrating the young players and ensuring a good fitness status and a firm self -confidence of the players. Preparations are expected to start at the beginning of July, immediately after the Andreas Dinner/Didi Stadler Memorial Tournament on July 12th
Before that Stefan Balk was a coach of SV Waldhausen in 2011 to 2014 and has now returned after the club separates from coach Herbert Vorwallner. Vorwallner made his office available after a 0-2 defeat against TSV Soyen in order not to hinder the association in the relegation battle. The negative results were also due to bad luck and exits last summer.
The sporting framework for the coming season has been favored by various modernizations in the climb. For example, the floodlight system was changed and the youth field was completed. A new club bus improves the team's mobility, and the conversions in the functional building have been successfully completed. Roger Pichler, Head of SV Waldhausen, emphasizes the need for a positive reaction to the critical sporting circumstances.
Youth work has high priority in the association, with the aim of integrating talents into the first team sustainably. According to Dr. René Paasch, an expert in team development, is crucial for team success. Good communication, trust and a clear distribution of roles are central factors that Balk also observes in his coaching philosophy. Ultimately, the development of a common goal is the basis for sporting success in the coming year.
