Construction work on the woolen bridge: S1 to Pentecost closed!
Deutsche Bahn is carrying out comprehensive construction work on the new railway bridge over Wollankstrasse in Berlin on the Pentecost weekend. This bridge, which is located between the Bornholmer Straße and Wollankstraße train stations, was built in 1901 and now shows considerable age damage. Therefore, a complete renewal is planned by 2028, as S-Bahn Berlin

In addition to the Pentecost days, numerous timetable changes and construction work are planned on various S-Bahn lines in June and July, such as between Mahlsdorf and Kaulsdorf as well as in the area of Baumschulenweg and Neukölln. Timetics may not yet be included in the timetable information at the beginning of this work, so that timely information procurement is advisable.
